Terms of Service - Residential Dumpster Rental Agreement
Rental Details
Total Amount Due Upon Delivery: $299
Charge for Additional Days: $15 per day
Prohibited Items
For the safety of your home and community, the following items must not be disposed of in the dumpster:
- Batteries
- Liquids of any kind
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Electronic waste (e.g., computers, monitors)
- Motor vehicle parts or fluids
- Yard waste (leaves, branches, etc.)
- Dirt, soil, sand, or concrete
Improper disposal may result in additional fees or penalties. If unsure about an item, please contact us for guidance.
Fees & Penalties
- Overfilling Fee: $50 (if contents exceed the top rim)
- Additional Weight: $0.03 per pound (above 4,000 pounds)
- Special Handling Items (Extra Charges Apply):
- Appliances: $25 each
- Tires: $10 each
- Tube TVs: $30 each
- Cancellation Fee: A $25 fee applies to cancellations made within one (1) day of the scheduled rental date.
- Blocked Access: If the dumpster is not accessible at the time of pickup (e.g., blocked by a vehicle), no fee will be charged, but pickup will be rescheduled at the next available time.
Terms & Conditions: Renter Responsibilities
- The customer must ensure the delivery location allows sufficient access for a delivery truck. If access is restricted and the truck cannot safely place the dumpster, delivery will not occur.
- Suitable surfaces include paved driveways or approved staging areas free of obstructions.
- The renter agrees to follow all disposal regulations and ensure that no prohibited items are placed in the dumpster.
- The renter understands that they are responsible for any applicable overage fees, restricted items, and placement access.
Proper Use
- Dumpsters must not be filled beyond the top rim.
- An overfilling fee of $50 will apply if materials exceed the allowed fill level and may delay pickup.
Payment Policy
- $299 is due at the time of dumpster drop-off.
- Final invoice will reflect: additional rental days ($15/day after drop-off date), overweight charges ($0.03/lb above 4,000 lbs), and special item handling fees (if applicable).
- No refunds will be issued for early pickups or unused time.
Liability & Damage
- No liability is accepted for damage to driveways, lawns, or other surfaces during delivery, placement, or pickup.
Pickup & Removal
- The dumpster will be removed on the agreed pickup date unless an extension is prearranged.
- If the dumpster is not accessible at the time of pickup (e.g., blocked by a vehicle), no fee will be charged, but pickup will be rescheduled at the next available time.
Acknowledgment & Agreement
By checking the agreement box during booking, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this Residential Dumpster Rental Agreement. I understand that I am responsible for any applicable overage fees, restricted items, and placement access.
